Camera ObscuraPinhole Camera ProcessTo take a picture with a pinhole camera you need to follow these steps:
1.) You will need to enter the darkroom and load some photographic paper into the camera, with the shiny side facing the pinhole, making sure that the pinhole is covered once the paper is put into the camera. 2.) (Make sure that there is something weighted on the camera so that it is in place because otherwise the picture will be blurry.) Go outside and pick an object that doesn't move because taking the picture takes several seconds, also try and pick something that is in the light and isn't hiding in the shadows. (If the weather is sunny when you take the picture, make sure that the sun is to the back of the camera so that the sun shines on the object chosen.) 3.) Place your camera somewhere, the camera creates a wide-angled image so placing the camera on a bench or wall will help to avoid getting the ground in the picture. 4.) Secure your camera so that it doesn't wobble and make your image blurry, don't hold the image because your body will move too much. 5.) Remove what is covering your camera and time for the certain amount given. (Different cameras will have different exposure times.) 6.) Once you have taken your picture close the pinhole back up (without moving the camera) and keep holding the pinhole to make sure that the cover doesn't fly open. 7.) Return back to the darkroom to process the image.
